We are part of the West Midlands Neonatal Network. This means that if your baby needs more intensive care, or there is a unit closer to where you live, or if we’re struggling for cot space due to capacity issues, we might need to transfer him or her. As the name suggests the other units are all within the West Midlands. If your baby needs to be transferred we will discuss this with you first in detail.
