Did you know that 31% of our patients request to be addressed differently to their recorded formal first name?

That’s why, when you arrive or are admitted to one of our hospitals, you should have your #CallMe recorded.

This is your preferred name that you want to be called – which may not be your formal birth name.

#CallMe is simple, but it’s really important.

We hope that it will give comfort and reassurance to you that we respect your identity.

Your #CallMe name will appear on your patient wristband and the name stickers which get attached to your notes.

If you’re not asked for your #CallMe name, please ask one of our staff to record it for you.
