As an NHS provider we are committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity and creating opportunities for all, where individuals from every background feel valued and respected and where differences will be appreciated, and discrimination is not tolerated.

Inclusive Recruitment

As a Trust we are working towards a more representative and inclusive workforce. We welcome applications for all roles from people in the BAME, LGBTQ+ and Disabled communities.

We have expanded our interview guarantee scheme to include not only Disabled applicants but also applicants from BAME and LGBTQ+ communities who meet the essential criteria for our Senior roles.

We have developed a new Recruiting manager’s toolkit that includes a new Unconscious Bias training package to help us create a more inclusive recruitment process and a more supportive and relaxed environment through the whole recruitment process.

Welcome to our Networks

We have well established staff inclusion networks (BAME, LGBTQ+, Disability and Faith) who provide guidance and support to the organisation and its leaders at all levels to ensure we make the ‘right’ decisions first time.

We also have an Armed Forces Network for veterans, service leavers, reservists and armed forces families.

We are fully committed to supporting these networks and their ongoing work and we are committed to establishing further networks to enable staff to raise issues and seek support relating to protected characteristics.
