Collaboration and Innovation

We take pride in fostering a dynamic environment that values innovation. Our pharmacy team, guided by supportive Clinical Pharmacy Team Leaders, actively collaborates and innovates to stay at the forefront of healthcare advancements.

Our colleagues have opportunities to learn and work in a broad range of clinical specialisms across the Trust as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.

We have pharmacists working within ward-based teams, specialist pharmacists working in clinics and pharmacists assigned to work alongside the on-call medical team where they are expected to history take, implement management plans and treat acutely unwell patients. All roles are crucial to the ongoing care of our patients and are highly regarded within the multidisciplinary team.

    Our dedication to innovation has not gone unnoticed. We are proud recipients of the prestigious Digital Leaders Award from The Institute of Leadership.

    Our Lead Pharmacist for Critical Care and EPMA, Ruth Coxhead, in collaboration with the ICU consultant, two critical care nurses, and the digital team, launched the IntelliSpace Critical Care and Anaesthesia (ICCA) system.

    Situated between the calm tranquillity of the Malvern Hills and the Cotswolds, and the hustle-and-bustle of Birmingham, Worcestershire offers the best of both worlds.

    You could be a short distance from beautiful countryside for outdoor pursuits, close by Michelin-starred restaurants, or visiting one of the many theatres, museums and music venues of the West Midlands area.

    There are also a number of high-quality schools throughout the county along with excellent leisure facilities.

    Major motorway networks include the M42, M5 and M6 which provide excellent links to the hospitals.
