My clinical interests were the oncological treatment of lung and urology cancers and sarcoma. This involved the prescription and delivery of both chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments. I was also involved in the set up and running of several clinical trials in these tumour sites and remain on the trial management groups for two national/ international randomised clinical trials in lung cancer and mesothelioma. I was clinical audit and clinical governance lead for the Oncology department for 8 and 6 years respectively and active in the teaching and training of junior medical staff and radiographers
