Have your say on local hospital care by taking part in the Big Quality Conversation

Patients and their carers, families and friends are being asked to share what matters most to them when they are in Worcestershire’s hospitals, to help shape the plans for improvements to their experience and quality of care.

Staff at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust – which runs the Alexandra, Kidderminster and Worcestershire Royal hospitals – are encouraging people to have their say by taking part in their annual Big Quality Conversation.

The short, anonymous survey asks people about their experiences of hospital care, including safety, the effectiveness of treatment and their overall experience. The results will directly shape the Trust’s future safety and quality plans and priorities.

The survey is in Easy Read and a range of other formats that aim to make it as easy as possible for people from across Worcestershire to share their views.

Hayley Flavell, Chief Nursing Officer at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Trust, said: “We really want to engage with our patients and their carers, families and friends to understand what’s important to our local community and we will use this information to directly inform the Trust’s Quality Strategy.

“This year we are again running our survey until 12 January, and we hope to support a variety of opportunities for engagement and capturing feedback from the public. By completing the survey our local community can help make a real difference and support us in delivering excellent standards of care.”

Results from last year’s survey are available in the Trust’s Quality Account 2025-2026: https://bit.ly/3TqNsqo
