Mrs Church graduated from Leeds University in 1996 with honours. After vocational training in general practice, she gained experience in a number of different dental specialities before starting her specialist orthodontic training on the West Midlands training programme at Birmingham Dental Hospital and Walsall Manor Hospital. During this time she was also awarded her Masters in Philosophy based on research into the treatment of impacted canines.

She completed her consultant training at Leeds Dental Institute and St. Luke’s hospital, Bradford and was awarded her Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Her interests are treatment of complex malocclusions, especially those requiring orthognathic (jaw) surgeries.
