Following my training in Birmingham, I pursued my passion for Sports Medicine by firstly completing a Fellowship in the Arthroscopy unit at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham. I then went onto the Pan Am clinic in Winnipeg, Canada where I spent a year with Prof. Peter MacDonald and Dr Jamie Dubberley doing Sports Surgery and Upper Limb reconstruction. I completed the Perth Sports Surgery Fellowship in 2020 with Mr Peter D’Alessandro and colleagues where I focussed on all aspects of Shoulder and Upper limb surgery as well as soft tissue knee reconstruction.

My area of interests are all aspects of Shoulder Sports Surgery which involves shoulder arthroscopy for rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, impingement and stiffness. I also perform shoulder arthroplasty, including shoulder replacement both reverse ball and socket and anatomical as well shoulder hemiarthroplasty. I also undertake shoulder arthroplasty cases for complex fractures of shoulders. My other interest includes trauma with a focus on upper limb trauma. I particularly enjoy teaching and have written several book chapters with international authors. I am also a keen researcher with several publications.

Outside medicine, I enjoy keeping fit whilst fund raising. I have trekked Mount Kilimanjaro peak and Everest Base Camp. I have also run several half marathons and cycled around UK & Europe.
