Dr Paul Bolaji

I am interested in general neurology, vascular neurology, acute stroke and stroke recovery, with my extensive training in neurology, general internal medicine, stroke and rehabilitation. I am particularly interested in the intensive pathway from acute neurology/stroke and neurology/stroke.

I am an active member of the Royal College of Physicians (RCP). I am a member of the World Stroke Organisation, and current Vice-Chair of the African Stroke Organisation Education Committee.

Most recently, I was awarded “Stroke Consultant of the Year” – Highly Commended 2025.

I was nominated as a Southampton Community Legend for service to the community of Southampton.
