Mr Al Shakarchi undertakes a comprehensive range of vascular operations including carotid endarterectomy, lower limb bypasses, venous and aortic surgery at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

He established the local dialysis access service for Worcestershire and Herefordshire. He is the lead for the supervised home based exercise programme for patients with intermittent claudication. He has a specialist clinical interest in vascular access and the treatment of varicose veins.
