Jasper Trevelyan is trained in general and interventional cardiology, he set up a new, local angioplasty service. This started in October 2008 and now treats 1000 patients per year. He trained in the UK and New Zealand, working in four interventional centres and is trained in angioplasty from both the femoral and radial routes. He is a BSE accredited echocardiographer and performs trans-oesophageal echocardiography. Dr Trevelyan specialises in general cardiology and has a sub-speciality interest in coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (angioplasty).
