Conditions we treat

We provide care for patients with a broad range of rheumatic diseases, offering patients diagnosis, treatment and when appropriate long term management of their condition.

We see people with a full range of rheumatic conditions including:

  • Inflammatory arthritis (e.g. rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout)
  • Connective tissue diseases (e.g. systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), myositis, Sjogren’s syndrome)
  • Vasculitis (e.g. ANCA vasculitis, Behcet’s disease, giant cell arteritis)
  • Metabolic bone disorders (e.g. osteoporosis, Paget’s disease)

  • Osteoarthritis
  • Hypermobility
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Chronic back pain
  • Local soft tissue problems eg Tennis Elbow
  • Clinical emergencies e.g. suspected septic arthritis
