In Urgent Care, every shift will be different. You won’t know what’s coming through the door next – a mom carrying a febrile infant, an 80-year-old with chest pain or a young child with a head injury. That’s why we need staff who are driven, enthusiastic, and can think on their feet approaching each patient with the same incredible level of care, regardless of their situation.

Being able to work as a team is essential as we work closely with a variety of multidisciplinary teams throughout the hospital including Specialist Doctors, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Radiographers, Mental Health, Cardiology Nurses, and Alcohol Liaison Nurses.

We are looking for staff who have energy, enthusiasm, commitment, and drive, with a flexible attitude to work and the ability to cope under pressure.

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is a large acute and specialised hospital trust, providing care and treatment from three main sites – the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre, and Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester.

We deliver a wide range of services to a population of nearly 600,000 people in Worcestershire as well as more specialised services to a larger population in Herefordshire and beyond.

Last year we provided care to more than 250,000 different patients – that is 40% of the Worcestershire population receiving care at one of our hospitals.
