Making a donation

If you would like to make a donation, please send it to the Treasurer or Download the donation form here. Please make all donations payable to "The Friends of WRH".

Please remember that if you are a UK taxpayer, and can gift aid your donation, it will be worth even more to us. You can download and complete a Gift Aid Declaration Form and enclose it with your cheque to our Treasurer. This enables us to reclaim the tax you have already paid, and means that your donation will go even further.

Requesting Funds

If you would like to request funds, please write a letter requesting funding for the attention of the Chair and the committee will consider each individual request. Letters can be sent for the attention of: The Friends of WRH and left in our pigeon hole or sent via post to the Secretary.

If you would like to become a member by donating £12 a year, please contact the Secretary

Legacies

Legacies are a vital resource which have enabled us to make large contributions in the past, notably, £170,000 for the Charles Hastings Education Centre in 2002.

After remembering your loved ones, please consider leaving a bequest to the Friends of WRH in your will. If this is not possible, you might consider requesting a donation instead of flowers at a family funeral. Some charities have been criticized for spending too much on salaries and other administrative costs. The Friends pay no salaries and administrative costs are less than 1% of annual income. You can be assured that anything you can give will not be wasted.
