Orthodontics
Orthodontists provide services to prevent or correct problems with the growth of the teeth.
Within our hospitals, we focus on the most complex orthodontic conditions,
treating complex problems that interfere with the position and development of teeth. Where necessary we work as a team with consultants in other specialties, particularly those who specialise in caring for the mouth and face.
We provide a local link with the Regional West Midlands Centre for Cleft Lip and Palate based at the Birmingham Children's Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.
Our consultants also help to train specialist registrars linked to the University of Birmingham Dental School.
