Neurology

Neurology is the study of the nervous system and the diagnosis of conditions that affect it.

The nervous system comprises the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles.

Neurology has strong links with the radiology department, which offers CT (computerised tomography) scans and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scans. EMG tests (electromyography – an evaluation of the electrical activity produced by skeletal muscles)
