Alex Blackwell provides a general gynaecology and urogynaecology service caring for patients with menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence and prolapse. She is a member of the British Society of Urogynaecologists. The WAHNHST Urogynaecology Unit is one of the first nationally accreditied urogynaecology units in the UK. Since her appointment in 2005 Alex Blackwell has set up the Pelvic Floor After Pregnancy service at WRH. She has also established a Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology service at WRH and is a member of the British Society of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecologists. This dedicated paediatric gynaecology clinic offers care for patients below 18 years with menstrual problems, urinary incontinence and other gynaecological concerns.
