Diglis House Hotel flies high for oncology

Generous customers and staff at Worcester’s Diglis House Hotel have raised £500 for the county’s oncology unit at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

The hotel held a sponsored balloon race to raise the money and were delighted with the response they received.

The hotel’s sales and marketing consultant, Roy McDonald said: “Our staff are absolutely delighted that our customers have helped us raise so much money for the oncology department at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.  The department does a marvellous job treating patients and we were keen to do our bit for it.  The balloon race was our way of supporting the oncology service.”

The winning balloon reached Lincolnshire.
