Community Transport Services

A number of services operate across the county supporting patients who need to visit our Hospitals but who are unable to drive. These services are provided and funded by the local council and supported by voluntary organisations. 

Worcester and Redditch Service

Residents living in Worcester or Redditch can access the Community Transport.  They will need to phone or email to book a service which is open Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm

Kidderminster and Wyre Forest Service

Residents living in Wyre Forest area can access a service provided by dial-a-ride, Tenbury Trasnport Trust and Communicty Transport Wyre Forest, working togeher to support local people. The service is supported by volunteers who give up their time to help. Residents will need to register for the service and pre-book their journeys a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Fare apply fo rthis service, and patients must be registered with the following GP Practices to qualify:

  • Nothumberland House
  • Stanmore House
  • Hagley Surgery
  • York Medical Centre
  • Church Street
  • Bewdley Medical Centre
  • Kidderminster Health Centre
  • Stourport Health Centre
  • Chaddesley Surgery
  • Wolverley Surgery
  • Tenbury Surgery
  • Great Witley


The service will take you to GP Surgeries and Kidderminster and Tenbury hospitals in the Wyre Forest, and north Malvern Hills districts.  The service must be pre-booked by email or phone and is open Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm
