Free information and activity day for cancer patients in Evesham

A free information and activity day for cancer patients and their families or carers is taking place at Evesham Community Hospital on Thursday 20 June.

The day, titled ‘Live Well With and Beyond Cancer’, will take place between 9am and 4pm with refreshments and lunch provided. It has been organised in partnership by Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, University of Worcester, Macmillan Cancer Support and St. Richards Hospice.

The event will offer a great opportunity for any cancer patients and their families or carers, to learn about the recovery package, speak with experts in various fields – including physiotherapy, dietetics, and psychology.

There will be a chance to listen to fellow patients’ stories, experience taster sessions such as Pilates, gardening and Singing for Fun as well as meeting other people in similar circumstances.
