COME AND JOIN US: Recruitment day - Saturday 13 May

Exciting nursing and midwifery opportunities across the county’s hospitals will be showcased at a recruitment event next week.

If you are on the lookout for a new job, already working in the NHS, or looking to return to nursing, Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust has vacancies to suit you at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre and Worcestershire Royal Hospitals. Full-time, part-time and flexible hours are all on offer.

The event is being held for registered nurses, midwives and those looking to start a career as a health care support worker. It will take place from 10am to 2pm on Saturday 13 May in the Worcestershire Oncology Centre at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

The Trust is also looking for newly qualified or experienced learning disability and mental health nurses. A comprehensive training package will be given to support you in an acute hospital environment and help treat our patients more holistically.

Applicants will be able to chat to staff at information stands and get information on opportunities within medicine, surgery, women’s and children’s services, theatres, outpatients and clinical support roles. Our HR advisors will also be giving free 1:1 help and support on applying for vacancies.

There will be a chance for visitors to see and hear first-hand what it’s like to work for the trust. The Professional Development team will also be on hand to let you know about the training opportunities available across the trust.

Sarah Needham, Lead Nurse for Workforce said: “This event is designed for people to come and see the wide range of fabulous job opportunities are available across Worcestershire. We are really looking forward to welcoming potential candidates.

“Whether you are working for another trust and looking for a change, thinking of coming back to nursing, or considering a caring role within the NHS, this event will have something for you”.

For those attending there will also be refreshments available and free parking on the day at 3 Kings Court, Charles Hastings Way. Visitors are free to drop in at a time convenient to them.
