MyBabyArt brightens up maternity wards
Newborn artwork is brightening up maternity wards at Alexandra Hospital in Redditch thanks to a donation by two local photographers.
Midwives at the hospital welcomed canvases on Tuesday 3 March from photographer Cordelia Noble, 48, from Stourbridge and former Redditch Standard photographer Emma Trimble, 35, from Birmingham.
Emma said: “We are so happy for our art to be given pride of place in the corridors and wards at Alexandra Hospital and hope to make an impression on everyone who walks past.”
Patti Paine, Divisional Director of Nursing and Midwifery said: “The new artwork donated by Cordelia and Emma has brightened the corridors and wards at the Alexandra Hospital and has created much discussion amongst the public visiting the area and with staff .”
Emma started her photography career in 1999 working for the Redditch and Bromsgrove Standards.
