'Not Out of Mind' – baby loss memorial service

A special service is being held in Worcester on Saturday 15 October at 2pm - 2:45pm at St Peter's Church, Eden Close, Worcester, WR5 3TZ, for families who have been affected by the loss of a baby.

Anyone who has experienced an early pregnancy loss, stillbirth or neonatal death at any time in their life is welcome to attend the service starting at 2pm at St Peter's Church, Eden Close, Worcester, WR5 3TZ.

The service, titled ‘Not Out Of Mind’, is also open to healthcare workers and others who feel they have been affected by this in their line of work.

Organisers Trudy Berlet, Bereavement Support Midwife and Rev Guy Hewlett, Chaplain at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust have arranged the service to remind families that they are not alone. Grieving families will be invited to light a candle in memory of their baby.

Guy and Trudy said: “We arranged this service to bring families together who have experienced the tragic loss of a baby. We know the incredible impact this loss makes on a family. This is an opportunity to come together to remember, as well as get some comfort from others who’ve been through the same thing.”

People of all faiths and no faith are welcome.
