'Not Out of Mind' – baby loss memorial service

A special service is being held in Kidderminster on Saturday 8 June for families who have been affected by the loss of a baby.

Anyone who has experienced an early pregnancy loss, stillbirth or neonatal death at any time in their life is welcome to attend the service starting at 2pm at Trinity Methodist Church, 3 Churchfields, Kidderminster, DY10 2JL.

The service, titled ‘Not Out Of Mind’, is also open to healthcare workers and others who feel they have been affected by this in their line of work.

There will be a short introduction and readings from 2pm followed by time and space from 2.30pm to 3.30pm for anyone to pop-in to experience the quietness of the church building. People of all faiths and no faiths are welcome.

There will be an opportunity to light a candle, to place requests on a prayer tree and to have time and space to be quiet and to remember the babies that have been lost. Refreshments will be provided.

Bereavement midwives and chaplains from Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust will be available to speak with anyone.
