We're recruiting: Come along to our recruitment day on Saturday 21 January

Registered nurses, advanced nurse practitioners, midwives and current or aspiring health care support workers are being invited to a recruitment event for Worcestershire’s three acute hospitals.

The event which follows on from previous successful recruitment days, will take place from 10am to 2pm on Saturday 21 January in the Education Centre at Alexandra Hospital, Redditch, and showcase various exciting opportunities.

Roles are available across Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust’s three sites – the Alexandra, Kidderminster and Worcestershire Royal Hospitals.

You will be able to chat to staff at information stands and get information on opportunities within medicine, surgery, women’s and children’s services, theatres, outpatients and clinical support roles, with our HR advisors available to give free 1:1 help and support on applying for vacancies. There will also be a chance to see and hear first-hand what it’s like to work for the trust. The Professional Development team will also be on hand to let you know about the training opportunities available across the trust.

Sarah Needham, Lead Nurse for Workforce said: “This event is for all registered nurses, midwives, operating department practitioners and current and aspiring healthcare support workers to come and see what fabulous job opportunities are available across our county’s hospitals. It builds on the successful recruitment campaigns we have recently held for other roles and we are looking forward to welcoming potential candidates.

“Whether you are working for another trust and looking for a change; thinking of coming back to the profession; or wondering about embarking on a caring role within the NHS, this event will have something for you.

“If you are currently working as an advanced nurse practitioner and considering a change then we are also interested in discussing what the trust can offer you.”

For those attending there will also be refreshments available and free parking on the day. Visitors are free to drop in at a time convenient to them.

There are also two positions which will be available for interview on the day. These are a Band 5 Staff Nurse position and a Band 5 Theatre Practitioner role.
