High levels of demand for A&E services at Worcestershire Royal Hospital

High levels of demand for A&E services at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

The NHS in Worcestershire is urging the public to choose their health services wisely and to think twice before they go to the A&E at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

Patients with a wide range of minor injuries which do not require a visit to A&E (such as cuts, wounds, sprains, strains and minor burns) can also be treated at Minor Injuries Units across the county. This will help to relieve pressure on the hospital A&E teams and reduce waiting times for patients.

Patients attending the A&E at Worcestershire Royal Hospital may experience longer waiting time, patients will be continue to be seen in order of clinical priority.
