Visiting Intensive Care can be a daunting experience, particularly for the family of our patients, who have never been in hospital previously. 

A quiet, restful atmosphere is necessary because of the patients’ condition. We therefore suggest only close relatives/friends visit initially, but if there are particular people you would like to visit we leave it to your discretion. 

We have two intensive care units at our Trust, one at Worcestershire Royal and another intensive care unit at The Alexandra Hospital, Redditch
