Our Trust operates two intensive care units – one at the Alexandra Hospital, Redditch and one at Worcester Royal Hospital.  Both provide patients and their families with the highest level of care in an atmosphere of kindness, dignity and respect.

Our co-ordinated approach to care ensures that every aspect of treatment is carefully planned within a comfortable and safe environment.

Patients are admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) from the emergency department, theatres, wards or other departments in the hospital and sometimes from other hospitals. This specialist service is designed to care for patients who require continuous observation or complicated treatment.

Our specially trained staff provide care 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
