We know that your own bed is the best bed for you, so we want to do everything we can to get you home or the place you call home, as quickly as possible.

If you do need urgent, emergency care then we will try to give you the tests and treatment you need on the day you arrive, or give you a convenient appointment to come back, so you won’t need an overnight stay – this is what we call Same Day Emergency Care.

Emergency care is not only provided from Accident and Emergency departments, so we’re ensuring there are safe and effective alternatives in place with the right clinicians at the right time to give you the care you need.
