As well as information packs and class-room education sessions, the Worcestershire diabetes education programme also provides access to an online service called Mapmydiabetes.

Mapmydiabetes is the world’s first online education and support system for people with type 2 diabetes. Designed by NHS doctors, nurses and people with diabetes, it gives you everything you need to take control of your diabetes.

Mapmydiabetes is freely available for all people with type 2 diabetes with a GP in Worcestershire, whether you are newly diagnosed or have had diabetes for many years. All that is required is an email address and an internet connection. It is extremely easy to use with online tutorials that help you get started without any training.
