The Macmillan Information and Support Service is here to support haematology patients in Worcestershire with any practical, financial and emotional concerns you may have. We are not a clinical service but work closely with our clinical colleagues to ensure you receive person centred care which addresses your needs and the needs of those around you.

    Macmillan Team

    The Macmillan Information and Support Service is based near reception at all three hospital sites throughout Worcester Acute Trust and are open Monday to Friday. We have a specialist team including a nurse, social worker, support workers and specially trained volunteers who can offer a listening ear and a confidential space to share your thoughts. We have built up an extensive knowledge of the potential sources of practical and emotional help available both locally and nationally and can signpost you to them. We also stock a wide range of written information such as tips with coping with hair loss and how to talk to children.
