In our children’s clinic we have an outpatients department and a medical day case unit.

You may come in for an outpatient appointment with a doctor or another healthcare professional or you may come to visit us for some treatment.

The children’s clinic is only for patients coming in for a day or part of the day, unlike our ward where you stay overnight.

When you arrive, book in at the reception desk where one of our lovely receptionists will welcome you to the department.

You may then have time to play in our play area while you wait to see the doctor or nurse.

We have lots of different things for you to do here like colouring or construction.

There are also some games and quizzes to help keep older patients occupied too.
