Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and NHS Worcestershire are working in partnership with University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust to enable county cancer patients to have care closer to home.

Worcestershire cancer patients currently have to travel outside of the county for radiotherapy and some specialist chemotherapy.

The Trusts are working to ensure that by 2014, 95 per cent of radiotherapy and almost all chemotherapy will be delivered within Worcestershire - which is great news for local patients.
