Riverbank ward is our children and young people’s ward at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

This ward is just for children and young people aged 0 to 17 years old.

If you are too poorly to go home, you may be admitted to the Riverbank ward, where you will be given a bed of your own.

Each bed on our children and young people’s ward  comes with a bedside cabinet, table and TV.

The TV is free to watch from 7am – 7pm.

If you need to stay overnight, one parent or carer can stay with you on a fold out bed or recliner chair.

It is nice for you to have familiar things with you when you are in hospital, so you may like to bring your:

We have toys, games and activities in our play room and young people’s room. We also have an outdoor play area if the weather is nice.
